Panic attacks happen everywhere. You do not need to be in a scary situation for you to have a panic attack. Panic attacks are not good. Panic attacks can happen at any time. You can be with your friends having fun and all of a sudden string urge of fear. You can be working, sleeping, walking, talking and you feel a sudden surge of fear. That is why it is said that panic attacks can happen any time and anywhere. When you feel a strong urge of fear, you start sweating or have shortness of breath. Some physical symptoms occur when you are in fear. When you know you are in danger, your heart starts pounding fast and you may sometimes feel chest pains because of the fear. The same case applies to panic attacks. When you have a panic attack, you will start having chest pains, sweating, shortness of breath, heart pounding fast, and many other symptoms. Panic attacks can last for about twenty minutes. When the symptoms persist, you should visit a doctor. Since panic attacks can happen any time, there are various ways of preventing attacks from happening.

The first way of preventing attacks from happening is by keeping your nose clean. You should breathe through the nose and not through the mouth because breathing through the mouth dries out your lungs. When your lungs are dried, it could lead to shortness of breath. When you have shortness of breath, you have a high chance of having a panic attack. Therefore, to prevent any panic attacks from happening, you need to breathe through your nose and not your mouth. Another way of preventing panic attacks from happening is by having good thoughts all the time. At times we might have bad thoughts which are sometimes scary. When you are scared, you can have shortness of breath, sweating, and this may cause a panic attack. To avoid that, you need to make sure that you replace bad memories with good memories to prevent any panic attack from happening. Also, you can prevent panic attacks through controlled breathing. While exercising, you might have shortness of breath. When this happens, you need to breathe through your nose and you should learn to control your breathing. You can breathe in and out.
